The SISU Endurance Team (SET) Running Club will be starting it’s second season on Monday, June 17 between 6-7 pm. Last year, 13 local runners stepped up to lead the weekly running program, which was attended by 37 youth participants. The group met for 1 hour a week at the Miner’s Memorial Park and Ironwood Depot. The goal was to promote the sport of running, while focusing on developing healthy habits. Participants were also encouraged to take part in a 5-person relay team in the 50th Paavo Nurmi Relay.
The 2019 season will be similar to last year with participants being encouraged to participate in running events in our area. The SET Running Club is open to youth grades 5-12. Cost is $10 per person and includes a t-shirt.
New SET members will need to follow the 4HOnline NEW FAMILY Enrollment Instructions.
Past SET members will need to follow the 4HOnline SET Re-Enrollment Instructions.
