SET XC Ski Club Early Registration NOW OPEN!

Early registration for the 5th annual SISU Endurance Team Cross Country Ski Club is now open!

This program is available to Iron and Gogebic County youth grades K-12. The goal is to encourage kids to participate in a fun winter sport that they will be able to enjoy for a lifetime. All ability levels are welcome. The club will meet at  ABR Ski Trails on Sundays, January 16 – March 6, 2022 from 2:00-3:30 pm.

The program costs $40 per child, with a $10 discount for each additional child (for families with more than one child). Registration includes a SET ski club hat.

NO SKIS? NO PROBLEM! We have over 30 sets of ski equipment available for youth participants to check out. The best part? This equipment is available for members to checkout for WHOLE winter. If we don’t have skis in our inventory to fit your child, rentals are available each week at ABR.

If your child is in interested in participating in this program, please complete the following by clicking the blue text below:

  • 2022 SET SKI CLUB PARTICIPATION FORM – Please complete the 2022 SET Participant Information form link, which will help us get to know your child, access their ability level, and equipment needs. Completing this form will add your child to our ski check out list, which will be done on a first come, first served basis. We plan to a ski equipment pick up days during the week of Monday, December 6 – Friday, December 10 (more details to come).  
  • SET SKI CLUB 4HONLINE ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS – Registration must be done on 4HOnline. Please follow the enrollment instruction link above to enroll. Past members can re-enroll by following the instructions on pages 2, 7. New members must follow the instructions starting on pages 3, 5, and 7. If your child is an intermediate skier and has equipment, they are welcomed to join some of our SET coaches for a second day of skiing during Wolverine Wednesdays! This will take place at Wolverine Ski Trails, January 6th – February 24th from 4-5 pm. Any youth grades 2 and under, parents must accompany (Wednesdays only).

*SKI CHECKOUT DETAILS: Parents are required to pay a $100 deposit and complete a short form when checking out a ski package for their child. Full deposit will be return to parents upon return of ski equipment. In the event that damage or loss is incurred on the ski equipment, Iron County 4-H program will retain the $100 deposit to pay for repairs or replacement costs.
