Join UW-Madison Extension Iron County’s Darrin Kimbler and Mercer Library on Wednesday, March 4 at 10 am for a Planning a Seed Saving Garden virtual Zoom class. Are you interested in saving your vegetable seeds from year to year for your garden? Maybe you want to create your own heirloom vegetables to pass down to your family? This program is available to Iron and Gogebic County youth grades K-12. The goal is to encourage kids to participate in a fun winter sport that they will be able to enjoy for a lifetime. All ability levels are welcome and cost is $40 (with a $10 discount for each additional family member. The club will meet at ABR Ski Trails on Sundays, January 3 – February 28 from 2:00-3:30 pm.
