Babysitter Training Registration is OPEN!

The Babysitter Training is a 2021 summer program designed to introduce youth, ages 11+, into the world of babysitting. They will learn how to properly take care of children of all different ages. They will also learn how to address and handle situations in a proper way. This year, participants will become certified in CPR by  and listen to guest speakers from the local fire and police department, and more!

SISU Endurance Team XC Ski Club Registration NOW OPEN!

This program is available to Iron and Gogebic County youth grades K-12. The goal is to encourage kids to participate in a fun winter sport that they will be able to enjoy for a lifetime. All ability levels are welcome and cost is $40 (with a $10 discount for each additional family member. The club will meet at ABR Ski Trails on Sundays, January 3 – February 28 from 2:00-3:30 pm.

Zoom – Connecting Colleagues and Continuing Programming During the COVID-19 Crisis

The Extension Iron County educators and staff have been adjusting to working remotely during the COVID-19 crisis. Thanks to video conferencing tools, like Zoom, they are able to meet and work together productively “face-to-face” when meeting in-person isn’t possible. Extension Iron County – Limited Office Capacity During COVID-19 Outbreak

The Extension Iron County office will have limited capacity during the COVID-19 outbreak. Iron County Extension educators must follow UW-Madison protocol and have been advised to start working remotely.
