Extension Iron County Committee Update

With much of the Extension Iron County programming being affected by COVID-19, the decision was made to put the July Iron County Extension Education Committee meeting on hold. Instead, the educators and staff decided to create 2 newsletters to let committee members know that even though the world is in the midst of a pandemic, they continue to work on some great projects and programs this summer. Zoom – Connecting Colleagues and Continuing Programming During the COVID-19 Crisis

The Extension Iron County educators and staff have been adjusting to working remotely during the COVID-19 crisis. Thanks to video conferencing tools, like Zoom, they are able to meet and work together productively “face-to-face” when meeting in-person isn’t possible. Extension Iron County – Limited Office Capacity During COVID-19 Outbreak

The Extension Iron County office will have limited capacity during the COVID-19 outbreak. Iron County Extension educators must follow UW-Madison protocol and have been advised to start working remotely. The Iron County Courthouse (and all Iron County Buildings) are currently open, but public visitation to all non-essential offices is currently suspended until further notice.
