Now Hiring – Iron County 4-H AmeriCorps Gardening Coordinator

This position offers more than just experience. As an AmeriCorps member, you will receive:

  • College Tuition Reimbursement (Segal AmeriCorps Education Award).
  • Housing Allowance to help with local living expenses.
  • Professional Mentorship from Extension staff and community experts.
  • Youth Education: Lead hands-on gardening activities for students in grades 1–6 through the Hurley School District afterschool program.
  • Community Partnerships: Collaborate with Master Gardeners for expert content and the Iron County Farmers Market to create a pipeline for selling fresh produce.
  • Summer Engagement: Must attend summer camp and help where needed to make the program a success.
