It may seem odd to be talking about summer right now, but we have a lot to prepare for the 23rd annual Iron County Summer Youth Camp program, which is scheduled to take place at Trails End Youth Camp in Bruce, WI. on Tuesday, July 23 – Friday, July 26, 2024.
The fundraising letters will be mailed to donors this week and the next step is to begin the summer camp staff selection process.
4-H Youth Development Educator, Neil Klemme will be meeting with Hurley and Mercer students in grades 8-12 (2023-2024 school year) this week and plans to share steps on how to enroll!
How to Apply?
- Complete the Google application form HERE.
- Submit a resume by emailing it to neil.klemme@wisc.edu or feel free to drop it off at the Extension Iron County office.
- Participate in a mandatory in-person interview on March 16, 2024. You will be able to sign up for a 15 minute time slot in coming weeks.
- Mark your calendars for the mandatory camp staff training Saturday, June 15 – Sunday, June 16 and camp week (camp staff arrives one day early) – Monday, July 22 – Friday, July 26, 2024. The training and camp program both take place at Trails End Youth Camp in Bruce, WI.
