Iron County 4-H Welcomes Summer Assistant

After a long search, we have finally found someone to fill our summer assistant position! Gavin Ransanici, who recently graduated from North Michigan University, is stepping role for the second time.

4-H Youth Development Educator, Neil Klemme hopes Gavin has better time this year, since the last time he worked in this role was in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic during the summer of 2020.

Welcome Gavin! We look forward to working with you again. Check out Gavin’s bio below.

Hello! My name is Gavin and I’ve called Wisconsin home for 23 years and I’ve come to love and cherish much of the natural outdoor scenery that makes up our little northern town of Hurley.  I enjoy most of my spare time out on the lake fishing, although lately the fish seem to be disinterested with anything I attach to my fishing pole.  I pride myself in being a clean and ecosystem friendly angler that leaves the lake cleaner and better than I had found it by cleaning spare line, tackle, or any other litter debris left behind whenever I can.  I look forward to meeting you all this summer and can’t wait to have some fun in the nice weather finally!!

-Gavin
