I had the greatest time being a summer assistant for 3 years, it was a relaxed, fun summer job that allowed me to work 8-4 and enjoy my weekends and evenings with my friends. It’s a dynamic job of working with kids, planning and executing programs, and working with the community. The skills are easily transferred to any field you want to go into. The experiences I gained by being a summer assistant opened doors to many of my future job opportunities. I couldn’t imagine a better summer job than one that you can go biking all day, jam out in the car with kids, and be such an important part to kids core camp memories. You also make a lot of great memories for yourself along the way!
